About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Team Leader to manage a small team of developers. This position combines hands-on development with leadership, agile delivery, and close collaboration with business stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of up to 4 developers.
• Drive agile processes and serve as Scrum Master.
• Assign tasks, track execution, and ensure timely delivery.
• Work with business teams to support banking and enterprise solutions.
• Troubleshoot and balance workloads effectively.

Requirements (Must-Have)

• 2+ years of experience managing a development team.
• Strong Oracle / PL/SQL expertise, including writing complex procedures and queries.
• Hands-on Java development (Groovy – strong plus).
• Knowledge of API integration and large, complex systems.
• System analysis experience.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Professional references – required.

Nice to Have

• Shell scripting (Bash).
• Experience with DataStage.
• Familiarity with banking systems.
