Senior Automation Engineer

Nisha Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the cloud technology sector.

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join the engineering team and drive the development of robust automation frameworks in Python/Pytest.

This position is 100% automation development (no manual QA) and is ideal for someone passionate about building scalable automation for backend, API, and cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks in Python/Pytest.
• Build automated test suites for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Automate testing for backend systems, APIs, and cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality, testable software.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Continuously optimize automation frameworks with advanced features (fixtures, parameterization, parallel execution).

Requirements:

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation development with Python/Pytest.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing automation frameworks (Page Object, Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven).
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
• Good knowledge of SDLC, TDD, and BDD.
• Experience with version control (Git).

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or related field).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with performance testing (Locust, JMeter) or web automation (Selenium).
