Job Description

As a Full-Stack Lead Software Engineer at VIDI, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of high-quality applications across web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with our product and design teams to architect scalable solutions, guide technical decisions, and ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of performance and usability. Beyond coding, you’ll serve as a mentor and leader, fostering a culture of technical excellence within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of scalable, reliable, and secure full-stack applications.

• Design and implement system architecture, APIs, and integrations.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate ideas into functional solutions.

• Ensure best practices in coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

• Identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance.

• Stay updated with the latest technologies and evaluate their adoption within VIDI’s ecosystem.

• Contribute to defining long-term technical strategy and roadmap.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in full-stack software development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React/React Native, and Swift (preferably with SwiftUI).

• Solid knowledge of databases (SQL & NoSQL), cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API design.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make high-level architectural decisions.

• Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading small to medium engineering teams.

• Familiarity with GraphQL and real-time communication (WebSockets).

• Background in building scalable SaaS products.

• Understanding of AI/ML integrations and data-driven architectures.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Prior involvement in startup environments or fast-paced product companies.
