Yield, Quality & Reliability Engineer

As a Yield, Quality & Reliability Engineer, you will be a key driver in ensuring the excellence and dependability of Teramount's cutting-edge products. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing yield data, managing disposition limits, supporting change management, and maintaining compliance with quality standards such as ISO. Join us in fostering continuous improvement to meet production goals and deliver top-tier products.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Analyze and optimize yield for DY/LY and Rel signals to enhance manufacturing efficiency
• Manage disposition limits, making data-driven decisions on product release or rework
• Support and document change control processes, implementing design and process modifications
• Uphold and strengthen quality systems aligned with ISO standards and internal QA protocols
• Prepare for and participate in ISO inspections and audits, ensuring ongoing compliance
• Collaborate across manufacturing, design, and quality teams to identify root causes of yield issues and implement corrective actions
• Monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and recommend areas for process improvements
• Lead failure analysis initiatives and continuous improvement projects to maximize yield and reliability
• Accurately document and track quality issues, change requests, and corrective actions

What We Need to See:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in yield engineering, quality assurance, or manufacturing within optical or electronics hardware sectors
• Proven familiarity with optical connectivity products and high-speed data transfer testing protocols
• Solid understanding of quality systems, ISO standards, and audit procedures
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, or JMP
• Strong knowledge of DY/LY, Rel signals, and disposition limits

Ways to Stand Out:

• Experience working in a startup or dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Hands-on experience with process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma or LEAN
• Background in PCB manufacturing, optical module assembly, or related processes
• Familiarity with automation, test equipment, and statistical process control techniques
