Chief Technology Officer- video mobile

A Seed funded startup, led by experienced entreprenuers, with a groundbreaking AI B2C video/mobile app, is hiring a hands-on CTO to join our team and reporting to CEO.

You’ll own our entire tech stack — from infrastructure to product — while leading collaboration with outsourced dev partners.

This role combines strategy and execution: overseeing App development, video streaming,

DevOps, FinOps, and internal tools, while working cross-functionally with content,

monetization, and growth teams to optimize the user experience and funnel.

Key Responsibilities

* Take full ownership of our tech stack and architecture, including backend, frontend, DevOps, and infrastructure

* Lead the handover process from the current development agency; maintain, debug, and expand the product

* Manage external offshore teams for continuous development, QA, and feature delivery

* Collaborate closely with the User Acquisition, Monetization, and Product teams to analyze and optimize the entire user funnel

* Lead all video streaming operations, ensuring performance, stability, and cost-efficiency

* Build and optimize the internal CMS, content publishing tools, and production workflows

* Own FinOps and DevOps operations — from infrastructure to budget management and cost control

* Ensure high standards of product quality, scalability, and UX across devices

* Anticipate technical risks, ensure redundancy, and maintain security and compliance

* Work directly with the CEO and executive team on product roadmap, KPIs, and long-term scalability

Requirements

* Proven experience in a senior tech leadership role (CTO, VP Engineering/ R&D, Head of Tech)

* Deep knowledge of mobile app development (Like React Native) - must

* Strong understanding of video streaming infrastructure, cloud architecture, and content delivery - advantage

* Experience with at least one leading cloud provider and proven skills in cost optimization - must

* Expertise in DevOps, FinOps, and infrastructure cost management

* Experience working with outsourced and offshore development teams

* Full-stack experience: hands-on backend and frontend development skills

* Startup mentality – proactive, agile, and execution-oriented

* Experience in consumer mobile apps, entertainment, gaming, or media-tech startups - advantage
