For a leading global medical company based in Haifa, we are seeking a Clinical Application Engineer to join the R&D division.
This role serves as the core clinical knowledge in the development and support of advanced medical imaging solutions, including SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and radiology reading systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize clinical user requirements
- Design and define new applications and product features
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, marketing, and sales teams to integrate customer needs into product development
- Conduct statistical and quantitative analyses to enhance image quality, phantom evaluations, and clinical assessments
- Support full product lifecycle activities: usability, user documentation, training, regulatory submissions, clinical evaluation reports, and product pilots
- Serve as a clinical focal point for internal stakeholders and customers, supporting advanced field queries
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, or related discipline (M.Sc. preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical applications, system engineering, or medical imaging roles
- Solid knowledge of imaging physics and modality fundamentals (experience in CT, PET/CT, or Nuclear Medicine – advantage)
- Proven ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams in a global organization
- Strong communication and presentation skills in Hebrew and English
