Integration and Operations Practical Engineer

Position Overview:

We are looking for one of our clients, in a defense company an experienced Integration Technician to operate and manage a multidisciplinary integration lab, working with complex electronic systems, computing platforms, mechanical components, and electro-optical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, build, and execute integrations in an advanced hybrid lab, including simulation development.
• Maintain, operate, and upgrade sites, including communication network testing, power supply checks, and interface verification.
• Troubleshoot and repair subsystem issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements:

• Practical Engineer (Electrical, Electronics, Communications, or Control) – mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of proven experience integrating complex systems in the civilian sector – mandatory.
• At least 3 years’ experience in integrations within multidisciplinary labs – an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in electronics and various communication protocols (Ethernet, Serial) – mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in assembling and disassembling electronic and computing equipment – mandatory.
• Proficiency in using standard testing equipment (Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator) – mandatory.
• Ability to read and edit technical schematics – mandatory.
• Experience in custom electronic equipment assembly and enclosure design – an advantage.
• Additional knowledge in control systems, navigation, electro-optics, or electromechanics – an advantage.
• Proficient in computer tools: Microsoft Office (Excel in particular), schematic design tools (Visio or similar), and network monitoring software.
• Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking).
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow operational procedures precisely – mandatory.
