Head of Artificial Intelligence

We are seeking a Head of AI / AI Leader with vision, proven experience, and a strong Hands-On orientation to define, lead, and manage the organization’s end-to-end AI strategy. The role combines strategic leadership (Leadership) with deep technological expertise and business acumen, driving next-generation enterprise AI solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI systems.

In this role, you will lead the creation of the AI roadmap, oversee the design and deployment of innovative AI capabilities, and manage complex processes in a matrix environment across diverse organizational interfaces. You will also lead, mentor, and develop AI teams while working directly with senior management to ensure AI innovation translates into measurable business value

• Strategic leadership (Leadership) and full responsibility for defining and executing the AI vision and roadmap.
• Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of advanced Agentic AI systems leveraging LLMs in a cloud-native environment.
• Matrix management of complex AI initiatives in collaboration with engineering, product, design, data, and business teams.
• Oversee the integration of multi-modal capabilities, tool-augmented reasoning, contextual memory, and intelligent agents.
• Ensure optimal implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enhance organizational knowledge systems.
• Establish governance mechanisms, best practices, and secure, ethical AI development processes.
• Lead performance measurement, define KPIs, and oversee model optimization and continuous improvement.
• Represent the organization in professional events, publications, and thought leadership activities.
• Mentor, develop, and lead AI teams while fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in AI leadership roles, including creating and implementing AI strategies in complex organizations.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing LLM-based and Agentic AI systems.
• Hands-On technical expertise with the ability to lead teams by example.
• Deep understanding of LLM architectures (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini) and advanced fine-tuning techniques.
• Mandatory: Practical experience with RAG and MCP.
• Proven experience in matrix management of cross-organizational AI projects.
• Strong background in prompt engineering and building goal-oriented reasoning workflows.
• Ability to define, measure, and improve AI KPIs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).
