SVP, Head of Sapiens Cloud Services

Title: Account Executive

About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Cloud Services Unit. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the organization's cloud strategy, ensuring the efficient operation of cloud infrastructure, and leading a team of skilled professionals with the aim of delivering best-in-class cloud services.
Responsibilities

• Manage a large business unit as part of Sapiens’ technology division
• Lead diverse, global, large teams (cloud engineers, support teams, service managers and SREs, who manage and operate the SaaS infrastructure and services centrally for the company)
• Accountable for P&L, track financial performance, and ensure cost-effectiveness
• Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Oversee the design, deployment, and management of scalable and secure cloud infrastructure
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud services
• Implement cost-effective solutions and optimize resource utilization
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture within the Cloud Services Unit
• Establish and enforce security best practices for cloud environments
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross company stakeholders in the different product lines and BUs and deliver effective cloud solutions
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior leadership role, managing cloud services and infrastructure (+15 years of experience)
• Strong knowledge of SaaS and cloud platforms with preference to Azure
• Strong track record of post-production supporting services, and project delivery experience
• In-depth understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance
• Successful track record working with customers and leaders, building influential relationships, leading executive meetings
• Proven leadership capabilities: experience managing, leading, and motivating dispersed (incl. offshore teams), senior & high-performing teams
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus
