New Phase is a dynamic and growing startup specializing in a novel nanotechnology-based treatment for cancer, with core values of innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join our team as a Biology Researcher. This exciting role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field and includes:
- Design and execution of in vitro and in vivo pre-clinical studies
- Active role in clinical trials
- Writing of scientific documents, protocols and reports
- Data management and analysis
- Keeping track on the updated literature in the relevant research fields
Qualifications:
- MSc/PhD in Biology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology or related disciplines with practical experience
- A strong molecular and cellular biology background
- Preference for knowledge in the fields of Nanotechnology, cancer research, and immunotherapy
- Experience in cell culture, pre-clinical cancer models, and animal work- a must
- Technical knowledge in cell-based assays (flow cytometry, ELISA, viability assays, confocal microscopy and imaging methods with a focus on MRI)
- Strong analytical skills
- At least 2-3 years of industry experience in the medical device field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to travel abroad occasionally as part of the role
