We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to be the first data hire in our growing startup.

Role focus: Build and own the company’s data infrastructure, create scalable pipelines, and make data accessible across teams.

Requirements:

5+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer

Strong Python expertise- MUST.

Hands-on experience building and deploying data infrastructures and pipelines (from architecture to production).

Proven experience with big data processing using Spark (mandatory) and frameworks like Apache Airflow or BigQuery.

Familiarity with Python data libraries (e.g., Pandas, Numpy, Arrow).

Experience in cloud environments (preferably GCP).

2+ years of proven backend development experience - advantage.

Immediate availability is an advantage.
