International Relations Coordinator

Location: Tel Aviv | 60% position- 3 days/week | Growth Opportunities Available

AKIM Israel is seeking a dynamic, creative, and globally minded International Relations Coordinator who can amplify AKIM’s impact worldwide and help build meaningful partnerships with the global philanthropic community.

AKIM operates 68 branches across Israel, creating opportunities and inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities in every aspect of life – community living, higher education, employment, day centers, legal advocacy, and more.

The International Relations Department develops partnerships abroad, supports AKIM’s “Friends of” network worldwide, and collaborates with the global community of organizations working to improve the lives of people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

•        Write compelling grant proposals, donor reports, and fundraising materials.

•        Design engaging content for social media, newsletters, and websites, using AI-driven platforms.

•        Organize visits, donor delegations, and events with professionalism and polish.

•        Elevate AKIM’s international visibility through innovative campaigns and digital strategies.

•        Support the effort to build relationships with donors, foundations, and international organizations.

•        Maintain donor records and assist with departmental operations (CRM experience a plus).

Qualifications

•        Native-level English with excellent writing and presentation skills.

•        At least 1 year of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or resource development.

•        Proven skills in AI content platforms, social media, and graphic design tools.

•        Event planning and hosting skills with strong presentability.

•        Highly organized, independent, and detail-oriented.

•        Strong computer proficiency (Word, Excel; Salesforce an advantage).

•        Knowledge of the philanthropy ecosystem and donor engagement practices.

•        Hebrew proficiency (written and oral) for collaboration with colleagues.

•        Passion for advancing inclusion, rights, and opportunities for people with disabilities.
