Role Overview

We are searching for an HSEQ Manager to join our Ein Hahoresh plant, where we manufacture steel drums, plastic containers and packaging closures. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will supervises colleagues who perform Environmental Health & Safety work. Your responsibilities will include setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results. You are also responsible for ensuring policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Health and Safety units.
• Ensure the operation is effective and efficient.
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate Environmental Health & Safety programs to ensure safe operating and working environments.
• Oversee and review policies to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Select, supervise, train, and motivate staff.
• Develop, implement and maintain accident statistical bases for internal and external reporting.
• Prepare and present a variety of reports, communications, and other documents.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 8 or more years of relevant experience.
• Solid knowledge of relevant safety regulations.
• Good administration, planning and organization skills.
• Analytical approach to complex issues and problem solving.
• Demonstrated ability to train and coach colleagues.
• Solid interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in both English and Hebrew
