About The Role

The Event Management team drives BigPanda’s core event processing, enrichment, and correlation capabilities. We handle millions of daily events across a robust, high-throughput cloud infrastructure and are responsible for transforming raw monitoring data into actionable, enriched incidents.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to help evolve and scale BigPanda’s main event processing pipeline. You’ll contribute to building performant, scalable systems that power real-time incident detection, helping our customers reduce downtime and increase visibility across their IT operations.

What You Will Do

Design and implement backend features focused on high scale and performance
Collaborate with product and UX teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
Maintain and improve infrastructure and component library
Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What Skills And Experience You’ll Bring To BigPanda

3+ years of experience in backend development using at least one of Java, Node.js, or Scala
Experience making thoughtful technology selections and introducing new tools when appropriate
React.js experience – a plus
Demonstrated initiative in driving projects from concept to production
A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
