Backend Data Engineer (Hybrid, Tel Aviv)

We’re looking for an experienced Backend Data Engineer to design, build, and scale the systems that power our data pipelines and infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in shaping robust data solutions that support analytics, product development, and business operations at scale.

📍 Location: Hybrid (2–3 days/week in Tel Aviv)

💰 Compensation: ₪35–55k/month (≈ $125k–200k/year) + equity

🕒 Type: Full-time

🛂 Eligibility: Israeli citizens only (visa sponsorship not available)

What You’ll Do

• Build and scale high-volume data ingestion pipelines (hundreds of GB/day and growing).
• Develop and optimise data analysis and export infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver impactful data solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience building and scaling backend platforms, data pipelines, and data warehouses.
• Strong hands-on expertise with big data technologies and distributed systems.
• Track record of delivering high-impact engineering work in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with Python, GCP, Kubernetes, Kafka, BigQuery, Elasticsearch is a plus.
