Role and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Linguist to design and develop linguistic features within our Research team. In this role, you'll be responsible for defining and characterizing linguistic generalizations in textual data as well as developing linguistic tools for Nym’s product.

As the Linguist, you will:

• Work with PMs and stakeholders to design and develop linguistic features.
• Analyze textual data, distribution, and format.
• Define and characterize linguistic generalizations in structured and free-text data.
• Define rules using internal and external tools to capture data points for various features.
• Engage in prompt engineering and LLM research.
• Maintain and update databases and code-based data collections for linguistic purposes.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics (Master’s degree in Linguistics - Advantage).
• Strong knowledge of theoretical linguistics (syntax and semantics).
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis methods.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy while still maintaining the big picture (SQL and Python - advantage)
• Ability and willingness to work in a technical environment.
• Excellent communication skills (both Hebrew and English).
• Team player.
• Self-driven with an ownership mindset.
