Senior Intelligence Researcher

ActiveFence is seeking an experienced Senior Intelligence Researcher to join our intelligence desk team. Our teams help top-level companies improve their guardrails using our insights on the latest trends in T&S, exploration of various abuse areas, and new techniques adopted by threat actors, while identifying fraud risks, uncovering vulnerabilities, and delivering actionable recommendations.

What will you do?

• Manage end-to-end research projects focused on trust and safety issues (e.g., fraud, cybersecurity, hate speech, coordinated inauthentic behavior, platform abuse and red team).
• Analyze data from various sources, including social media, platform APIs, internal tools, and OSINT techniques.
• Produce high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for client engagements, translating research into actionable insights and policy recommendations.
• Stay ahead of trends in content moderation, platform integrity, and safety policy.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience managing complex intelligence projects OR an intelligence team, preferably within CTI or fraud teams - MUST
• Extensive WEBINT / OSINT / Dark web experience (3-4 years) - MUST
• Fluent English - MUST
• Strong written and verbal communication skills- MUST
• At least 3 years of client-facing experience - MUST
• Strong understanding of OPSEC principles - MUST
• Additional language - an advantage
• Positive attitude, motivation, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
• Ability to package complex research findings into client-ready formats (e.g., slide decks, written reports, executive briefings).
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously.
• Flexibility to participate in meetings aligned with USA working hours.
