Data Analyst (Student)

Job Description:

Psifas is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to play a key role in revolutionizing medical data management in Israel. This part-time position is tailored for students or individuals with a knack for meticulous investigation and validation. A strong candidate will demonstrate a genuine interest in healthcare data and possess an exceptional ability to identify and solve complex problems.

As a Data Analyst student, you will be a part of our data engineering team to uphold the precision and reliability of the Psifas database. Your involvement will be critical in categorizing important medical information, thus contributing to the creation and maintenance of a unified and accurate clinical dataset.

This role is ideal for a student who enjoys the chase of investigation, gets a thrill from piecing together information puzzles, and is comfortable navigating the vast seas of data - all while contributing to a project with real-world impact and scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform meticulous research and mapping of internal medical terms to standardized medical vocabularies, ensuring accurate and consistent data.
• Embrace the challenge of extensive, detail-oriented data analysis, patiently sifting through information to validate and verify each term’s correspondence.
• Utilize AWS services, including Bedrock and other LLM-based tools, to support data enrichment, automation, and large-scale processing.
• Employ advanced search tactics through online databases and platforms to investigate and validate medical terms.
• Assist in refining and improving data mappings in collaboration with data engineers to further the capabilities and accuracy of our database.

Requirements:

• A strong interest in data analysis, particularly within a medical or clinical context.
• Prior experience with Python is essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Effective organizational and time management skills, with the aptitude to manage tasks autonomously.
• Ability to conduct effective online research using Google and other tools.
• Self-starter and independent, capable of taking ownership on issues from end to end.
• Fluency in Hebrew and a high level of English proficiency.
