Founding ML/Search Engineer & Co-Founder (Equity Only)

If you’ve shipped embedding-based search to production and can stand up a FastAPI + Postgres + vector DB stack in your sleep, this is your playground.

Tattit.io helps people find the right tattoo artist by style, content, and flow its not just keywords. Using computer vision and deep learning, we learn the stylistic signature in a reference image and rank artists’ portfolios by capability fit. We’re early, focused, and building from Tel Aviv.

• Data → Model → Prod: Ingest artist portfolios, build style embeddings, deploy real-time inference.
• Retrieval & ranking: ANN search, vector indexing, re-ranking, evaluation loops.
• Backend: FastAPI services, auth, rate limiting, APIs for search/match, job queues.
• Infra: CI/CD, observability, GPU/accelerator setup, cost/latency optimization.
• MVP delivery: Ship a private MVP of artist–user matching and iterate with real users.
• Foundations for scale: Tech standards, lightweight docs, and first hiring bar.
  

• Strong Python with modern ML tooling (PyTorch/TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Proven track record taking CV/ML systems to production (containers, GPUs, inference, monitoring).
• Hands-on with vector databases (FAISS/Pinecone) and similarity search at scale.
• Real experience in retrieval/ranking, metric learning, and offline/online evaluation.
• Solid backend fundamentals (FastAPI, Postgres, queues, testing).
• Cloud & CI/CD (AWS/GCP/Azure; Docker/Kubernetes/Terraform familiarity).
• Bias to ship, learn from users, and iterate quickly in a startup environment.
• BSc/BA in CS (or equivalent practical experience) , MSc a plus.
  

• MLflow/Ray, feature stores, experiment tracking.
• Consumer product experience, growth/engagement loops.
• Data bootstrapping (scraping/pipelines), content safety and moderation.
• Basic frontend (React/Next.js) to unblock yourself in MVP phases.
  

• Co-founder role with meaningful equity and real product/tech ownership.
• A category-defining product at the intersection of AI and creativity.
• On-site, high-energy build mode with a focused team (Microsoft Reactor TLV).
  

• Full-time, on-site in Tel Aviv.
• End-to-end ownership—from architecture choices to early on-call.
• Pragmatic MVP mindset: measure → learn → iterate.
