Warhead Design Engineer

We are looking for a Warhead Design Engineer to join the Systems & Engineering Division at IAI’s Missile & Space Systems.

The position includes:

· Designing and developing various types of warheads for IAI’s full range of products

· Performing performance calculations for warheads

· Preparing manufacturing and assembly drawings

· Writing technical specifications

· Writing test plans

· Supporting and participating in field testing

What we’re looking for:

· B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerodynamics – required

· M.Sc. – an advantage

· At least 5 years of experience in warhead/explosives design – required

· Experience with CAD software – required

· Experience in warhead performance calculations – advantage

· Experience in simulations and analysis – advantage

· Experience leading projects – advantage

· High-level English (spoken, read, and written)

· Team player with initiative, independence, and strong interpersonal skills

The Missile & Space Systems Division designs, develops, and supplies a wide range of solutions, systems, and products in the fields of missile systems, space technologies, communication, and navigation.

The Systems & Engineering Division develops a wide variety of missile systems, naval strike systems, munitions, and defense systems.
