Head of Design

Description

We're Looking for a Head of Design to lead and scale our multidisciplinary team.

Reporting to the CPO, you'll guide both product and marketing designers to deliver a unified, high-impact user and brand experience.

This role demands strategic product thinking, UX leadership, and creative vision - connecting product utility with visual identity and meaningful customer experiences.

Your Day-to-Day

• Own the end-to-end design vision across all user-facing experiences.

• Lead, mentor, Inspire and coach a team of designers (product + marketing) and UX writer fostering a culture of creativity, critique, supporting their growth and

enabling high performance.

• Work closely with Product, Engineering and Marketing, teams to align design priorities with business goals.

• Build and maintain design systems and tools to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across products and marketing materials.

• Evolve design standards, workflows, and tools to improve quality, collaboration, and speed.

• Recruit, hire, and onboard top-tier design talent to support the company continued growth.

• Oversee the UX writing function to ensure clarity, consistency, and tone of voice across all products.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product design, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.

• Proven track record designing consumer-facing digital products, ideally in mobile first categories.

• Deep understanding of UI-UX design, visual design, and UX research, alongside a sharp product and business sense.

• Empathetic team leader, coach, and collaborator.

• Skilled at balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

• Portfolio or body of work demonstrating excellent design taste, product thinking, and team impact.
