Data Engineer

A global pioneer in Behavioral Biometrics is developing technology that analyzes unique user behavior patterns using Deep Learning to detect authentic behavior or potential fraud.

The company serves some of the world’s leading financial institutions and has raised over $250M. Recently acquired at a valuation of $1.3B, it plans to accelerate growth and expansion in the coming years.

The company is based in Tel Aviv near a train station, operates a hybrid model with 2 work-from-home days, and employs around 300 people globally, with the main R&D center in Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable data architecture
• Implement best practices for data engineering and management
• Work with large-scale distributed systems using technologies like Spark, Kafka, and Airflow
• Design and optimize pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics, ML, and product development
• Work with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and modern data tools (Databricks, Snowflake, Kubernetes, ELK, Datadog)
• Develop and maintain code in Python and SQL
• Contribute to the evolution of microservices-based data solutions

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Backend Developer
• Experience developing in Java or Scala
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Delta Lake, Iceberg, BigQuery, Redshift, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Spark
• Experience working with Cloud environment
