Cybersecurity Architect

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Architect to lead security architecture and hardening across enterprise and cloud environments for a cutting-edge, mission-critical defense organization.

The position includes

• Designing and defining security architecture and controls for both cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem environments
• Writing technical specifications, security requirements, and implementation guidelines for infrastructure, development, and applications teams
• Leading vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analysis throughout the lifecycle of systems
• Developing and implementing security frameworks and methodologies based on industry standards (NIST, ISO, CIS)
• Making risk-informed decisions based on business context and threat analysis

What we’re looking for

• Hands-on experience in information and cyber security
• Proven background in enterprise-level security architecture
• Academic degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP – a strong advantage
• Experience in designing security architectures for both on-premise and cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with large-scale IT environments: Windows and Linux systems, storage, backup, and DR solutions
• Deep knowledge in securing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and building monitoring and enforcement processes (Logging, SIEM, SOAR)
• Proficiency in authoring HLD and LLD documents
• Experience with security tools: Firewall, EDR, SIEM, WAF, NAC
• Understanding of standards such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-series, CIS Benchmarks
• Background in penetration testing, threat modeling, and risk assessment
• Familiarity with DevOps and secure development workflows
• Fluent in both Hebrew and English
• Background in classified or defense environments – an advantage
