System Engineer - Image Sensors Algorithm

We are looking for a talented and experienced System Engineer with a strong foundation in C++ and a passion for algorithms and Image Signal Processing (ISP). In this role, you will collaborate with leading engineers and researchers to design, develop, and optimize innovative solutions for advanced image sensor systems.

You will take part in defining and implementing core aspects of the image processing pipeline, ensuring our cutting-edge sensors deliver exceptional performance across diverse applications.

The Group

The Sensor Algorithms Group develops algorithmic solutions for a wide range of image sensors serving Mobile, Automotive, and AR/VR markets.

As part of our System and Architecture team, you will help design and implement advanced architectures for ISP systems. We plan, develop, and integrate algorithm blocks that are essential for system functionality, while also leading software capabilities within the algorithm group.

Our team drives projects from architecture to integration, collaborating closely with multiple disciplines to bring next-generation image sensors to life.

What will you do?

• Translate system requirements into practical solutions and ensure their execution
• Develop and optimize ISP blocks in a C++ simulation environment
• Write clear high-level design documentation for ISP algorithms and system components
• Collaborate closely with Digital Design, Verification, and Firmware teams
• Take ownership of chain-level integration for algorithm ISP blocks
• Support the implementation, bring-up, and fine-tuning of your designs in silicon and final products
• Maintain thorough documentation of designs, processes, and user manuals

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in system engineering, software development, or algorithms (ISP/Imaging domain an advantage)
• Strong C++ programming skills and experience in large-scale simulation environments
• Solid understanding of system design, architecture, and requirements flow
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Image Signal Processing (ISP)
• Knowledge of image sensors or imaging systems
• Familiarity with digital design and verification flows
• Experience working with embedded systems or firmware teams
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for innovation in imaging technologies
