The Data Science Institute at Reichman University is recruiting interns for the Intellexus project: a prestigious ERC-funded research collaboration with the University of Hamburg focused on the computational study of ancient languages.

Prerequisites:

• Currently a B.Sc. or M.Sc. student in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python/Java/JavaScript/HTML/CSS.

What You'll Learn & Experience🛠️ :

As part of the team, you will gain hands-on experience with advanced, industry-standard tools and methodologies, including:

• Back-End Development: Building and maintaining robust server-side applications using NestJS and Python.
• Front-End Development: Creating dynamic user interfaces with React.
• API Design: Designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Databases: Working with a graph database, ArangoDB.
• Version Control: Collaborating effectively using professional Git workflows.
• Modern Technologies (Advantage): Gaining exposure to Azure and containerization with Docker.

Academic Credit: Students can earn academic credit for their contribution through several channels, such as a final M.Sc. project, a guided B.Sc. project, or guided work.
