Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Specialist with strong expertise in Python to join our central automation and analytics team. This role focuses on building scalable automations, integrating with APIs, and applying advanced statistical techniques to detect anomalies, identify trends, and support forecasting.

While SQL is required for data extraction and manipulation, the core of this role is designing and implementing Python-based automations and leveraging statistical modeling to drive actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using Python and API integrations to replace manual processes
• Apply statistical methods and anomaly detection techniques to uncover irregularities and insights in large datasets
• Build and maintain forecasting models to support planning and operational decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Product, Sales, etc.) to understand challenges and translate them into automated and data-driven solutions
• Perform targeted data extraction using SQL to support automation and analytics processes
• Ensure automation reliability, data quality, and process consistency across departments
• Lead initiatives that significantly reduce manual workload and improve efficiency across the organization
  
  

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automation, analytics, or a related role
• Expert in Python programming – Must
• Hands-on experience with API integrations – Must
• Solid background in statistical analysis, anomaly detection, and forecasting techniques
• Strong business understanding with the ability to analyze complex processes and design automated solutions
• SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
• Experience working with large datasets and automation infrastructures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) – a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) – a plus
