Scheduled Hours: 45 hours per week

Location: Hybrid – 3 days a week in-office (Mon–Wed), remainder remote

Role Description

This is a 6-month maternity leave replacement contract at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed directly by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners.

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the XSIAM & Platform Frontend Team, working on the next-generation Cortex platform. This role reports to the Group Manager and provides a strong growth opportunity in a dynamic, international environment.

Your Impact

• Develop high-quality, scalable React/Angular components to deliver critical insights.
• Lead the creation of a robust design system (components, libraries, frameworks) to ensure consistency.
• Identify challenges and propose pragmatic solutions to improve workflow and product quality.
• Implement engineering best practices with strong emphasis on test-driven development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a cohesive product experience.

Your Experience

• 5+ years relevant experience in an international reporting environment.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with a can-do attitude and problem-solving mindset.
• Expertise with Angular framework.
• Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript, with experience building scalable web platforms (no Mobile development required).
• Background in cybersecurity is preferred.

1. Phone Interview – 30 min with Manager – Intro + partial technical
2. Onsite Hands-on Interview – 1.5 hours, panel of 2 (incl. 1 engineer) – Technical
