Technical Competitive Analysis Engineer– Full Time | Hybrid | Tel Aviv
A leading global cybersecurity company is looking for a Technical Competitive Analysis Engineer to join our Competitive Analysis & Intelligence team, working on our advanced security product portfolio.
What you’ll do:
- Collect and analyze technical information on competitor products, including detailed functionality assessments and Hands-On testing.
- Prepare competitive materials and support sales teams in identifying and highlighting our advantages in the market.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and QA to identify key competitive differentiators.
- Participate in meetings with customers, partners, and sales teams, including delivering training sessions and leading webinars.
- Track and influence industry analyst market share reports (Gartner, IDC) and monitor competitors’ strategies, market activities, and performance.
Requirements:
- At least 2–3 years of technical experience.
- Strong knowledge in Switching, Bridging, and Routing – must.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware) – must.
- Experience with cybersecurity products (NGFW, Cloud Security, Email Security, Endpoint Security, XDR, SASE, IoT/OT, SaaS Security) – strong advantage.
- Experience with Check Point products – major advantage.
- Experience deploying and implementing cybersecurity solutions from vendors such as Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco – advantage.
- Knowledge of Threat Prevention and AI/ML-based security solutions – advantage.
- High-level English – written and verbal – required
