Laboratory Assistant

OVERVIEW: Full Time Position in Central Israel

·      As the Chemistry Lab Assistant, the principal tasks will be to be part of the R&D team, assist and support the CEO, conduct experiments, tests, and formulation preparation in a laboratory setting. We are seeking candidates with an open-minded approach, independent thinking skills, and strong attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Design and test new procedures, formulas, equipment and devices

·      Maintain equipment

·      Be involved in test lab management and improvement of test processes

·      Perform a range of laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses

·      Prepare formulations according

·      Follow up on calibration requirements, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment

·      Monitor and maintain inventory levels of all supplies, and assist in ordering replacements

·      Accurately record data and results and write protocols, reports in English

REQUIREMENTS

·      Student or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related Field

·      Strong communication skills & excellent teamwork and collaboration

·      Multi-disciplinary understanding

·      Excellent technical documentation reading and writing skills in English

·      MS Office proficiency

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

·      Programming skills (C#, C++, Python, LabVIEW, Android)

·      Traceability/requirements management tools (JIRA, other)
