IT & IS Manager

A leading manufacturing company is looking for a visionary and hands-on technology leader to join our team in Northern Israel.

As the Manager of Information Systems and Technology, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of our technology infrastructure and digital platforms. This role includes end-to-end responsibility for the company’s IT operations, ensuring high availability, reliability, and compliance with modern cybersecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• IT & Digital Strategy: Develop and lead the company's IT and digital transformation strategy.
• AI & Automation: Lead the full lifecycle of identifying, evaluating, and implementing AI-driven tools and platforms within the organization. Collaborate with department heads to identify opportunities for process automation and digital optimization.
• Infrastructure & Systems Management: Oversee the maintenance, performance, and scalability of all IT infrastructure, including cloud and on-premises environments.
• Cybersecurity & Information Security: Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and controls to safeguard organizational data. Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as GDPR and ISO 27001.
• Team & Vendor Management: Lead and manage a dedicated IT and IS team of 3-4 professionals. Manage IT-related vendors, budgets, and contracts.
• Information Systems: Oversee core Information Systems, primarily ERP, BI, and CRM, ensuring they align with business needs.

Must Requirements

• Relevant academic background (Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems). A master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information systems management, with at least 2 years in a leading position.
• Proven experience leading organization-wide AI or Automation projects.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating and implementing Information systems solutions (Priority ERP or Salesforce CRM experience is an advantage).
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and contracts.
• High-level command of both Hebrew and English (written and spoken), with strong communication skills.

• Experience working in a medium-sized organization (100–300 employees).
