Project Manager and ERP Systems Analyst

Job Description:

Joining a core systems team in a leading organization, in a role that includes managing technology projects and analyzing ERP systems and interfaces.

The role combines responsibility for the characterization, development, maintenance and implementation of systems in the AS400 environment with an emphasis on the field of commerce - order management, sales and inventory.

The work includes ongoing interface with development teams, business users and senior managers.

Areas of responsibility:

• Leading cross-organizational projects, including integration between information systems.

• Analyzing business needs and writing functional and technical characterization documents.

• Coordinating work with internal and external interfaces, including managers and key users.

• Monitoring the correctness of development processes in the AS400 environment and their integration with additional systems.

• Responsibility for the quality of the products, including accompanying testing processes and quality assurance.

• Support for production failures, investigation and provision of technological solutions.

• Managing ongoing maintenance tasks and improving existing processes.

Required requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in project management and analyzing and implementing ERP systems, with an emphasis on order and inventory modules.

• Experience in writing technical and functional specifications.

• Ability to work independently and in a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Relevant academic education.

• Good level of English.

Advantages:

• In-depth familiarity with the AS400 environment, including configuration.

• Background and experience in development in RPGLE, RPG languages, including the ability to read code.

• Familiarity with additional ERP systems such as SAP, Priority.

• Experience in integration between systems and diverse development technologies.

• Experience in managing a development team in AS400 systems.

• Broad technological understanding and systemic vision.

• Familiarity with middleware tools such as DataPower, TIBCO.
