About the Role

The contractor will be responsible for the administration and support of the corporate’s network, participating in global projects worldwide, collaborating with cross-functional IT teams and providing on-site support for the labs and users in the Israeli offices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, resolving incidents and providing both remote and on-site (Israel only) technical support for the users in the company.
• Making configuration changes, maintenance, and upgrade operations in the network.
• Creating and maintaining detailed inventory and documentation of the network.
• Continuingly monitoring the network status and gathering insights and reports of its different metrics.
• Supporting cross-functional IT & facilities teams in global projects and ongoing tasks.
• Creating automation processes for the global network operations.

Qualifications

• A very good understanding of networking fundamentals (CCNA/CCNP level).
• Deep understanding of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, BGP.
• High level of understanding network topologies and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco’s network devices – switches, routers and wireless (both enterprise and data center).
• Should have great troubleshooting skills.
• A team player with positive attitude and good collaboration skills.
• A customer facing approach.
• Can execute projects with thoroughness and rigor and deliver them on-time.
• Passionate and eager to learn (and self-learn).
• Mobile and able to travel for remote sites when required.

Required Skills

• Python scripting knowledge.
• Operating Linux systems.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst Center and SDA.
• Experience with security systems – SD-WAN, firewalls (Palo Alto/Fortinet), NAC, VPN.
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge – AWS, Azure.
