The ideal candidate has deep expertise across supply chain development & Planning and will leverage their best practices and management experience to build/lead a high performing team. This role will report directly to the VP of Operations.

What You'll Do:

Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Engage and own the commercial relationship with our key commodity suppliers and component distributors.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-functioning team responsible for Strategic Sourcing and Key Commodity Management.
• Partner with Strategy Operations VP & Negotiate costs, long-term agreements (LTAs), and contracts to ensure long-range continuity of supply and service.
• Coordinate quarterly supplier technology/product roadmap reviews to align with our product strategy.
• Scale new and existing supply partners, executing creative and strategic commercial deals to achieve goals around total cost, supply, and quality.
• Identify new technology solutions and services to enable the next-generation roadmap for software & flight automation (including software, data, professional services).
  
  

• Lead the end-to-end demand planning process, collaborating with Sales, Product, and Finance to develop a consensus-based forecast that drives company revenue and operational goals.
• Translate the demand plan into a comprehensive supply and materials strategy, ensuring alignment between the unconstrained forecast and supply chain capabilities.
• Own and execute the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process, ensuring timely procurement of materials to support production schedules and new product introductions.
• Develop and manage inventory strategies, setting targets for raw materials and finished goods to optimize for cash flow, lead times, and service levels.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and on-time delivery, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
