Front End Tech Lead

Exodigo is the leading underground mapping solution for non-intrusive discovery. Our platforms combine multi-sensor fusion, 3D imaging, and AI technologies to create complete, accurate underground maps that enable confident decision-making for customers across the built world. Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Tech Lead to drive the technical vision, design, and implementation of our web applications. This role is hands-on, combining deep technical expertise with leadership in architecture, code quality, and modern frontend practices. You’ll be working on complex, data-rich visualizations—including geospatial and 3D components.

You will:

• Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of frontend solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React with TypeScript.
• Design and optimize data-rich visualizations, including geospatial and 3D features.
• Drive adoption of modern state management, performance techniques, and UI/UX best practices.
• Act as a technical mentor, providing guidance through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end features.
• Ensure robust integration with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Maintain a strong emphasis on code quality, performance, and long-term maintainability.
  
  

• Frontend Team Lead: Collaborate on planning and execution, with shared responsibility over code quality and delivery
• Backend & Platform Engineering: Ensure frontend aligns with backend services and data pipelines
• Product & Design: Translate product vision into high-quality technical solutions
  
  

• 10+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a focus on React and TypeScript.
• Proven track record of leading complex technical projects (without managing people).
• Strong expertise in state management frameworks (Redux, Zustand, or similar).
• Solid understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience working with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Background in data visualization, ideally with geospatial or real-time data.
  
  

• Experience with Python backend services
• Experience with geospatial visualization libraries (Mapbox GL, Deck.gl, or similar)
• Experience in 3D visualization technologies (Three.js, WebGL)
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and AWS services / lambda
• Experience with CAD or Geographic Information Systems
