Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO)/#ChooseWOMEN is an all-volunteer, grassroots movement supporting women in business worldwide. Celebrated annually on November 19, WEDO is recognized in 144 countries and 65 universities. WEDO empowers women leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to launch startups, drive economic growth, and uplift communities. By elevating women financially, WEDO seeks to create a global blueprint to help eradicate poverty and improve the lives of over 250 million girls living in poverty. In November 2025, we will launch WEDO Israel with a kickoff summit.

Role Description

This is a hybrid role for a Student Volunteer with WEDO Israel, combining office-based and remote work. The Student Volunteer will assist with event organization, social media campaigns, research, and initiatives designed to empower women in business. The role requires commitment to WEDO’s mission and the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.

• Event planning and organizational skills
• Proactive, organized, and hands-on approach
• Social media management and digital marketing skills
• Research and analytical abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for women’s empowerment and social impact
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Proficiency in English and Hebrew

Commitment

• Volunteer role (unpaid)
• Part-time (~5 hours/week), flexible
• Based in Tel Aviv (hybrid: remote + in-person as needed)
• Opportunity to grow into a WEDO Champion role for continued involvement
