Cloud Project Manager

Lead a strategic project to migrate organizational systems to the public cloud.

The role includes full responsibility for the technical, operational, and financial aspects of the project, overseeing the entire lifecycle – from requirements analysis and solution design to Landing Zone setup, implementation, integration, and operations.

• The Cloud Project Manager will manage vendors and technical teams, prepare specifications and professional documentation, develop work plans, track progress, and represent the organization in professional forums and steering committees. The role also involves providing professional guidance to management and driving integration processes across internal units and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Academic degree / Practical Engineer in Technology, IT, or Industrial Engineering & Management – minimum 7 years of experience, or equivalent experience/certifications.
• At least 2 years of experience in migrating systems to public cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience in setting up AWS Landing Zones.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification (or equivalent certification from another public cloud provider).
• Practical experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Docker/Kubernetes – advantage).
• Experience in cloud networking and security (IAM, Direct Connect, Security Groups, WAF, Guard Duty, etc.).
• Knowledge of FinOps – cost structures, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, Spot Instances, Tagging, and cost monitoring.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices in cloud environments (CI/CD, IaC, Cloud Formation, Code Build – advantage).
• Strong ability to manage vendors and technical teams, including working with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English.
