Head of IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity

Kamada, a global pharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly experienced Head of IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity.

This senior role is both professional and technical, responsible for leading teams, driving innovation, and improving IT and cybersecurity services across the organization.

Location: Beit Kama, Southern Israel.

Role Description:

• Oversee daily operations of IT teams, including Systems, Networking, Cybersecurity, and IT Support (approx. 10 employees), managing team leaders and guiding teams toward excellence.
• Define routines, priorities, and task assignments while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Full responsibility for IT infrastructure and information security in a manufacturing environment, including availability for off-hours support as required.
• Proactively lead ongoing initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and implement innovative solutions and technologies.
• Operate within the strict regulatory framework of the pharmaceutical industry, maintaining high standards of compliance and quality.
• Develop and implement IT solutions in Israel and the US, collaborating with global stakeholders.
• Maintain ongoing collaboration with multiple vendors and internal business partners.
• Serve as the company’s technological authority, providing expert guidance and innovation.
• Ensure precise task management, professional documentation, and responsiveness to evolving organizational needs.
• Manage crises and systemic incidents effectively.
• Lead IT projects from planning through successful execution.
• Represent IT infrastructure in audits and inspections.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science – mandatory.
• At least 7 years of proven leadership experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing both employees and team leaders – mandatory.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with regulatory frameworks – significant advantage.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced, and multitasking environment.
• Strong service orientation with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
• High-level English proficiency – mandatory.
