Oracle DBA – Infrastructure & Application

Job Description

• Installation, maintenance, upgrade, and patching of Oracle databases in PROD/DEV environments
• Performance tuning and optimization of queries, indexes, structures, and system parameters
• Backup and recovery management using RMAN, including recovery tests, configurations, and hardening
• Performance monitoring and bottleneck identification, using monitoring tools and troubleshooting (OEM and others)
• Work in Linux environments – ongoing maintenance, scripting, and running system commands
• Integration and implementation of monitoring & control solutions – working with monitoring and alerting systems
• Database version upgrades and migrations, including dependency mapping and upgrade planning
• Improving database availability and security – permission management, load balancing
• Collaboration with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to support applications and integration interfaces

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an Oracle DBA (Infrastructure & Application)
• Proven experience in database performance tuning and optimization
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems
• Strong proficiency in RMAN for backup and recovery operations
• Experience working with monitoring & control systems
• Experience with SQL Server – an advantage
