Magenta Medical is a medical device company developing the world’s smallest heart pump, meant to provide minimally invasive support to the heart during acute episodes of dysfunction.

The Elevate™ System is multi-disciplinary, involving mechanical engineering, material science, electrical engineering, software, algorithms, and state-of-the-art catheter fabrication techniques.

We are seeking exceptional individuals to help drive the Elevate™ System forward and potentially save more lives.

About the Role:

We’re growing and looking for a passionate, driven, and curious Product Manager to join our multidisciplinary team and help us move the Elevate™ System forward.

Reports to: Director of Product Management / R&D

Responsibilities

• Collect, compose, and manage data regarding specifications, risks, and requirements related to the Elevate System.
• Assist in gathering usability information.
• Conduct medical and market literature research.
• Provide general assistance with Product Management-related assignments.
• Active support of clinical and pre-clinical studies (procedures and monitoring)
• Logistical support of clinical and pre-clinical studies

Qualifications

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken – must.
• GPA of 85 or above – must.
• BSc or MSc in Biomedical Engineering or a related field – must.
• Ability to independently learn complex medical and technical information – must.
• High level of interpersonal skills – must.
• Ability to travel – 10% to 50% of the time.
• Work experience in medical device companies- an advantage.
