Are you in?

We are seeking a highly skilled V&V Lead with at least 5 years of experience in firmware (FW) version validation and automation for version regression testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in servo motor technology, hardware and firmware of servo controllers, with a deep understanding of servo control loops and Field-Oriented Control (FOC) algorithms.

As the V&V Lead, you will be responsible for leading a process that ensures the quality and reliability of hardware and firmware systems. You will play a key role in designing, automating, and executing tests for hardware validation and regression of firmware versions. Additionally, expertise in communication interfaces such as RS422 is essential.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage the V&V team to ensure high-quality firmware and hardware validation processes.
• Develop and implement automated regression testing for firmware versions.
• Design, execute, and maintain test plans for hardware and firmware controllers.
• Validate and verify servo motor systems, focusing on servo control loops and FOC algorithms.
• Define and execute test scenarios to identify and address potential issues early in the development process.
• Automate hardware testing procedures to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with firmware, hardware, and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on findings, including recommendations for improvements.
• Oversee the development and execution of communication interface tests, including RS422 and other relevant protocols.
  
  

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in V&V for firmware and hardware systems.
• Strong knowledge of servo motors, as well as the hardware and firmware of the controllers.
• Expertise in servo control loops and Field-Oriented Control (FOC) algorithms.
• Experience in developing automation frameworks for firmware regression testing.
• Proven ability to automate hardware testing processes.
• Hands-on experience with communication interfaces such as RS422.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate test results and identify improvement areas.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in motor driver systems and power electronics.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation
