Automation Team Lead

As a leader in Quality Automation Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving product excellence and team success:

• Design and automation of integration, API, and system-level testing to ensure product stability, performance, and reliability across distributed environments.
• Shape the quality narrative by providing a holistic system-level perspective, collaborating closely with developers and product managers to proactively identify, validate, and drive improvements in application performance and operational behavior.
• Champion continuous improvement by contributing to product and process enhancements, leveraging customer-centric insights and data-driven feedback.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and technical excellence in automation practices.

Ensure your success by bringing these skillsets & experiences:

• 4+ years of experience in QA/Test Engineering team lead, with a strong background in functional, regression, integration, and API testing in distributed systems.
• Ability to define, drive activities and align quality goals with business objectives.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of SaaS architectures and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Rancher, OpenShift).
• Expertise in end-to-end automation while ensuring comprehensive coverage from both technical and user experience perspectives, including framework design, maintenance, and execution of complex test scenarios.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, and automated deployment strategies.
• Proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience testing Client-Server applications and building scalable automation frameworks.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset focused on root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, programming, or equivalent practical experience
