Chief Information Security Officer

About the Role

PayPlus seeks a hands-on CISO to lead security strategy, compliance, and implementation across Israel and Lithuania. This role combines leadership with hands-on deployment of security tools, ensuring compliance with standars such as EU Central Bank, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Define security strategy, in accordance with Banking / Payment industry standards
• Own security procedures and compliance frameworks across the company
• Implement and manage security / IT tools and cloud security controls
• Oversee incident response, DR, and business continuity
• Align legal and regulatory processes across regions

Requirements

• Hands on 5+ years in IT/security
• Strong experience in security tools such as Fortinet, Intune, JumpCloud etc.
• Must have experience working in cloud enviorment, Azure & AWS prefered
• Experience with DevSecOps is an advantage
• CISO certification; CISSP/CISM preferred
• Native-level English; Hebrew proficiency
• Financial/payments sector background preferred
