We are hiring a Cloud FinOps Analyst to join a leading company in the Sharon area.
Responsibilities
-Build and maintain cloud cost and usage visibility, providing summaries and detailed usage statistics for resources across public clouds
-Analyze cloud cost and business data, and propose solutions to problems using advanced analysis methods
-Collaborate with development and finance teams on cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting, and showback
-Build a strong correlation between cloud cost and business usage data represented in a unit economics model
-Develop and track key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate and maintain cloud spend health
-Effectively use cloud cost management tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field, with 3 years of experience in data modeling and analysis
- Experience in financial analysis and cloud cost management
- Proficient hands-on experience with Python, Databases, and SQL
- Experience with data modeling and analytical tools
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI
- Experience working with business units and presenting results to stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently and in a delivery-oriented manner
