General Ledger Supervisor

About the Role:

Tnuva is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented GL Accounting Manager to join our Finance Division. This key position involves overseeing the general ledger function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards, and leading a team of accountants in a dynamic and complex business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, guide, and develop a team of accountants.
• Manage the preparation, review, and posting of journal entries as part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting records, accruals, expenses, and intercompany transactions within the Tnuva Group.
• Prepare quarterly financial disclosures and reporting packages.
• Handle tax reporting and submissions to authorities.
• Provide financial guidance, monitoring, and support across multiple organizational interfaces.
• Collaborate with external auditors and ensure compliance with IFRS.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes and ensure timely delivery of financial data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting – required.
• CPA license – an advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in a large organization, or in a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel – required.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with assertiveness and strong communication abilities.
• Full-time position with willingness to work additional hours when needed.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP – an advantage.
• Previous experience in team management – an advantage.
