Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Investment Analyst & Operations Manager to join our team and take ownership of both our investment analysis and the operational management of Robyn’s investment vehicles.

This is a strategic role that combines financial analysis with oversight of multiple investment structures, ensuring that our capital is deployed efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with our overall strategy. The candidate will play a central role in fund operations, cross-vehicle investment management, and strategic allocation of capital, while also leading analytical work and supporting deal execution.

The ideal candidate has a proven background in investment funds or financial institutions, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is eager to take a leadership role bridging analysis, strategy, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Analysis & Strategy

• Conduct in-depth financial and strategic analysis of startups and portfolio companies, including financial metrics, market activity, and competitive positioning.
• Build and maintain financial models, incorporating tax, legal, and commercial considerations.
• Support investment decision-making through rigorous analysis and preparation of materials for the Investment Committee.
• Provide ongoing portfolio monitoring, risk assessment, and performance tracking.

Cross-Vehicle Investment Oversight

• Manage and oversee investments across Robyn’s flagship fund and additional investment vehicles (e.g., SPVs, managed accounts, secondary programs).
• Ensure efficient capital allocation across vehicles in line with strategy and investor mandates.
• Coordinate investment execution processes across multiple structures, including legal, tax, and compliance aspects.
• Provide strategic oversight on portfolio construction, diversification, and exit planning.

Fund & Operational Leadership

• Lead fund operations, including timelines, investor infrastructure, paying agents, reporting, and legal documentation.
• Manage and optimize investor data systems and ensure robust reporting standards.
• Leverage Salesforce and Excel for advanced data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Drive processes for exits, including IPOs, M&A, and secondary transactions.
• Oversee and mentor a junior analyst, ensuring quality and consistency across analytical and operational work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field — required.
• 2+ years of experience in an investment fund, bank, insurance company, or similar financial institution — required.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and advanced Excel modeling — required.
• Experience with investment fund administration systems (e.g., NAV) — advantageous.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, contracts, and investment processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operational, legal, and tax aspects of complex investment structures.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both investors and internal stakeholders.
