Global Production Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Global Production Manager to lead the

operations of our manufacturing facility, specializing in high-reliability hardware for

communication satellites. This role is primarily focused on managing day-to-day

production, developing high-performing teams, and optimizing processes to ensure quality,

efficiency, and scalability.

The ideal candidate will also play a key role in developing and initiating global manufacturing

facilities and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all production activities at the Orbit's site, ensuring alignment with project

timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary production team, fostering a culture of

accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Implement and enforce best practices in manufacturing, assembly, and testing of

satellite hardware components.

Process Optimization & Quality:

• Optimize processes to improve throughput, reduce waste, and ensure product quality

while adhering to aerospace standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.

• Collaborate with engineering and R&D to transition designs from prototype to

production.

Operational Readiness for Global Expansion:

• Develop scalable production systems and documentation to support future multi-site

manufacturing.

• Contribute to the strategic planning of global production capabilities, including site

selection, process standardization, and technology transfer frameworks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely

availability of materials and components.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, cycle time,

downtime, and cost efficiency.

• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and quality issues proactively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering,

Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience of at least 8 years in manufacturing complex multidisciplinary systems
• Experience in companies with a wide product range in high mix low volume

environment

• Led quality processes such as LEAN and Six Sigma
• Familiarity with Priority ( ERP system)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Team-oriented leader that knows how to lead and inspire his team.
• Lean or equivalent certification.
• Experience with aerospace and satellite communication manufacturing.
