We are looking for a full-time Management Companies Controller to join our Tel Aviv office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of Greenfield Partners’ management companies, working closely with the CFO and other interfaces both internal and external. This position provides a unique chance to learn extensively about the venture capital world and gain exposure to some of the best companies in the market, contribute to the development of the finance team, and thrive in a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities include
- Drive annual budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Manage payroll and benefits for Israel and the US, coordinating with providers and ensuring timely filings.
- Manage treasury and cash operations, including cash positioning, payments, bank reconciliations, and banking relationships.
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations across multi-entity structures and manage third-party bookkeeping teams, ensuring strong controls and efficient workflows.
- Lead the monthly closing and deliver comprehensive budget vs. actual reporting with variance analysis, executive-ready commentary and actionable insights.
- Own tax compliance and reporting for Israel and the US in companies with external tax advisors.
- Ensure adherence to the applicable regulatory requirements in Israel and the US, including SEC and FINRA requirements, and internal policies.
- Own the annual financial statements process and lead the external audit end to end.
- Oversee legal and administrative workflows including employee agreements, intercompany agreements, and related documentation.
- Partner with the broader finance team on selected projects that span management companies and funds.
Qualifications
Must have
- CPA from a Big 4 firm, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Self-starting leader with a track record of designing, implementing, and improving processes and controls. excels in project-oriented environments.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with high accountability and time management.
- Hands-on experience with Priority ERP.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Preferred
- Familiarity with QuickBooks.
- Prior experience in venture capital, private equity, or multi-entity international environments.
- Experience working across Israel and US finance, payroll, and tax.
