Director of Business Applications

This position reports into the Senior Vice President of Business Operations and Technology. The Director of Business Applications is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and support of the organization's business applications and related technologies.

Responsibilities

●     Oversee the design, configuration, customization, and integration of Salesforce (including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Salesforce CPQ) and DealHub CPQ

●     Drive Strategic Partnerships: Partner with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Support, Services and Finance to align technology initiatives with business goals. Translate business requirements into a clear technology roadmap, ensuring transparency and clear communication across regular progress updates.

●     Lead Business Technology Strategy: Define and execute the long-term vision for business technology. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, set clear priorities, and ensure accountability for cross-functional initiatives.

●     Oversee Tool Administration: Manage the administration of sales tools and ensure effective project management for all sales operations initiatives.

●     Prioritize the development backlog based on stakeholder input, business impact, and technical feasibility.

●     Serve as the key decision-maker in determining feature prioritization, enhancements, and upgrades.

Requirements & Qualifications

●     Proven experience leading a Salesforce development team. Experience with other platforms is also highly desirable.

●     7+ years of experience in a Salesforce Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering complex and scalable Salesforce solutions.

●     Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional and matrixed teams in a fast-paced, agile environment, working closely with Salesforce admins, developers, stakeholders, and other key business contributors.

●     Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and other industry platforms, integrations, data architecture, and managed packages, focusing on delivering scalable solutions.

●     Proven ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable Salesforce features and enhancements, aligning technical teams with business priorities.

●     Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills to ensure consistent alignment across teams, from leadership to end users.

●     Skilled in leading product roadmaps, managing backlogs, prioritizing business goals, and ensuring timely delivery of high-impact Salesforce solutions.
