Logistics Coordinator

Pi-Cardia, a dynamic medical device startup specializing in cardiovascular innovations, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our Planning & Logistics team. The successful candidate will be handling procurement, warehouse, product final packaging and packaging for shipment, local/international shipments/deliveries, minmax inventory and logistics operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

This role requires strong negotiation skills, attention to details, ability to optimize supply chain procedures, working under pressure and working according to working procedures in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities:

Procurement:

• Open and track purchase orders and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
• Identify and engage alternative suppliers.
• Track delivery schedules, update ERP systems, and implement cost-saving measures.

Warehouse and Packaging:

• Receive goods, manage inventory movements, and maintain organized warehouses.
• Conduct inventory counts, monitor inventory levels and expiration dates.
• Prepare materials for production and manage transportation.
• Perform warehouse organization and packing for shipment, involving physical tasks (without heavy lifting).

Local deliveries and/or Import/Export:

• Coordinate local and or import/export shipments and track shipment statuses.
• Optimize shipping processes, reduce costs, and support customs clearance.
• Maintain shipping documentation and support internal import/export requests.

Requirements:

• Up to 2 years’ experience in Logistics or Procurement or similar role.
• Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry - an advantage.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Priority – an advantage).
• Relevant degree.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding English.
• Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
• Highly organized and responsible.
• Highly motivated and hardworking worker with “fire in the eyes”.
• Start working at 8:00am.
