Position Overview

VIDAA is seeking a skilled and driven BI Developer to join our Data & Analytics team in Tel Aviv. This is a contractor/freelance role, with the potential to become a full-time employee based on performance and business needs. You will be responsible for developing high-impact dashboards in Tableau and building data aggregation tasks using SQL and Apache Spark, enabling teams across the organization to make informed decisions backed by data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain intuitive and scalable Tableau dashboards for stakeholders across product, marketing, content, and ad operations.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes and aggregation logic using SQL (Hive/Presto) and Apache Spark to support data analytics at scale.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to define and refine KPIs and reporting requirements.
• Ensure data quality and reliability through validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Support internal users by providing ad hoc analysis and improving self-service data capabilities.
• Document data sources, dashboards, and processes to promote transparency and data literacy across the company.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or data engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau – including advanced visualizations, calculated fields, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL for large-scale data querying and transformation (experience with Hive, Presto, or similar engines is a plus).
• Solid experience developing and optimizing Spark jobs for aggregation and ETL.
• Familiarity with big data architectures and distributed processing.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Airflow, dbt, or similar orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and KPI frameworks.
• Background in the media, OTT, or advertising technology industries.
